Black Friday will be bringing more than just bargains for Hudson Valley residents this year. Weather forecasters are predicting significant snowfall throughout the Mid Hudson Valley before the end of the holiday weekend.
Thanksgiving itself will be mild, with temperatures in the upper 40s. Travelers making their way to the big Turkey Day feast aren’t expected to have many issues. It’s the return trip that has forecasters concerned.
Currently, the National Weather Service is calling for an 80% chance of snow on Sunday during the day. Snow will continue through Sunday evening into the Monday morning commute. Those returning to work and school could be greeted with up to 13 inches of snow accumulations.
