An Israeli soldier was lightly injured after a riot erupted during a pre-dawn arrest raid in a Palestinian village in the southern West Bank on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
The army said that local Palestinians hurled rocks at soldiers as they entered the village of Nahalin, southwest of Bethlehem, where Israeli forces arrested two people.
“An IDF soldier was lightly wounded, received treatment at the scene and was taken to the hospital for medical care,” the military said.
