IDF Wounds Suspect Attempting To Cross Into Israel From Lebanon Border

IDF soldiers positioned near the Lebanese border shot and wounded a man suspected of trying to cross into Israeli territory Sunday, according to a statement released by the military.

The man, spotted by a patrol guarding the border at Mount Hermon, was evacuated to a nearby Israeli hospital. The condition of the suspect remains unknown.

The military has opened an investigation into the incident.
