Iran: Power Plant ‘Incident’ Could Slow Down Centrifuges Development


The incident at Natanz nuclear facility near Tehran has caused “significant damage,” the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran said on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the national organization added that the damage could slow down the development of centrifuges in the site.

According to outlet Haaretz, an Iranian report cited a top official who said that following the incident, his country will build a “larger facility with more advanced equipment.”
