A first case of coronavirus contagion was confirmed in Israel, Hebrew media reported on Friday morning.

A woman who came in close contact with a man who returned from Italy with the disease, was tested positive with the virus. She was moved into quarantine, Hebrew-language outlet N12 reported.

Meanwhile, due to fears over coronavirus, 110 foreign tourists who arrived Friday in Israel via flights from Italy were barred from entry, Israel’s Administration of Border Crossings, Population and Immigration announced.

Three more flights from Italy are expected to land in Israel throughout Friday, while the rest of the flights were cancelled.
