Iran intends to carry out large-scale attacks over the weekend in Turkey, according to new information received by Israeli defense officials, Israeli media report.

Officials have decided to urge Israelis not to travel to Turkey and those already there are urged to be extra vigilant, i24 News reports.

The decisions follow an assessment of the situation conducted by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett with senior defense officials earlier in the day.

Those Israelis who are already in the city are advised against going out to restaurants and entertainment venues.

  1. I think that this warning is for real. Iran is really upset/embarrassed about the recent assassinations that went down there. I’ve flown Turkish Airlines many times but would avoid it looking as a Jew right now. (Even though it’s highly likely that their trained assassins/abductors are not hanging out in an airport which is generally one if the most secure spots in a given country. They can still still track u from there…) I’m generally no a paranoid yid, I walk thru Shar Shchem I talk to Arabs… But from I’m hearing the Iranians are trying to mess with “israelis” (Jews to the naked eye) in Turkey…. pause for breath
