Israel has witnessed an unprecedented 14 consecutive days of rainfall in both the northern and southern regions, marking a meteorological occurrence not seen since February 1992, as reported by the Israel Meteorological Service on Sunday. Termed “gishmei bracha – rain of blessing” by the service, this sustained and consistent precipitation is deemed favorable as it allows rainwater to permeate the ground, enriching natural water sources without the detrimental consequences of flooding.
The prolonged rainfall has notably elevated the water level of the Sea of Galilee by 26 centimeters (10.2 inches), with further increases anticipated. Although no longer the primary source of drinking water, this freshwater lake remains a significant indicator of seasonal rainfall in Israel. While a slight temperature increase is predicted on Tuesday, the rainy conditions are expected to persist until Wednesday, offering a positive outlook in a country where water is a scarce resource.
Dr. Amos Porat, the Director of Climate Services at the IMS, noted that aside from its duration, the ongoing rainy period, scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, has displayed no unusual characteristics. Typically, such weather systems linger for two to four days before moving on, but this extended pattern has been consistent without irregularities.
Certain regions in the central and northern parts of the country have already matched or surpassed their annual average rainfall, measured from August. However, south of Jerusalem, where the terrain gradually transforms into a desert landscape, Sodom at the southwestern end of the Dead Sea stands out as the sole location exceeding its annual average rainfall, recording 119%. Dr. Porat explained that occasional “local events” occur where rain concentrates in one area while adjacent regions receive little to none.
In contrast, Hazeva in the Arava desert, located in Israel’s far south, has only experienced 13% of its annual average rainfall. Similarly, Ein Gedi in the Judean Desert has seen a mere 15%, underscoring the varying impact of the extended rainfall across different regions in the country.

We must pray that these reshaim not flood Israel with their HAARP technology like they’ve been doing in other countries; Turkey, Germany, France, Scotland, California, Libya, Pakistan, etc.
They need lots of rain to mop the tunnels once they’re done cleansing them.
This is a Siman
