The health ministry announced on Sunday that the requirement for masks to be worn indoors would be removed on June 15, marking the end of one of the only major coronavirus restrictions remaining in Israel.

For the time being, schools will be excluded from easing borders, with children still required to wear masks in class, as most people under the age of 16 have yet to be vaccinated.

The ministry said that if the trend of declining morbidity continues and the vaccination campaign for 12 to 15-year-olds that began on Sunday is successful, there will be another discussion on considering reducing the requirement of masks in schools as well.

The policy will extend to Ben Gurion Airport, although passengers will continue to face other restrictions and individual airlines may require masks on the planes themselves. The health ministry will also continue to update its list of red countries from which travelers will be required to quarantine for 10 days upon return.

  1. The restrictions for the covid hoax is coming to an end because people have stopped taking the jab after thousands were killed and injured in Israel. You can’t fool all the people all the time – even by bribing them with $1 million.

  2. Coronavirus / Covid was a cover-up while the planet was being cleansed. Good news for Israel. The elite criminals in Israel have b”H been removed. Thank you Hashem and President Trump. Anyone know when lockdowns for lockups in Canada will end? Will we have to wait for Trump’s return?
