The often-raucous House chamber was left in a sleepy state of suspended animation Thursday as members failed to elect a speaker on the 11th ballot for the first time in 164 years.
Just after 8 p.m. Thursday, House members narrowly approved a GOP motion to adjourn until noon Friday, when they will embark on a historic 12th vote.
During the series of five votes, about half the House scrolled through their phones, bored with the lack of progress over three days. In fact, GOP leader Kevin McCarthy lost another vote when Rep.-elect Ken Buck of Colorado excused himself for a doctor’s appointment, leaving the Californian on 200 votes – down from 201 earlier in the day. This Mr. McCarthy should absolutely NOT be the Speaker!! He himself is a very wicked Toeiva guy and a complete leftist R.I.N.O. That, before any votes, he already went into the office room used for the Speaker and marked himself as “Speaker Designate” and now keeps repeatedly calling over and over and over again for new ballot counts — when he well sees that the majority do not want him — glaringly shows that he is a heavily obsessed “Rodeif Achar Kovod” – a person heavily obsessed with chasing after honor. Such an extremely super-hyper-arrogant guy should obviously not be a leader.
The twenty or more Representatives who strongly oppose him are 1,000% correct, for they are totally fed up with the so-called “Republican” & so-called “Conservative” voting blocs that almost always go along with and facilitate the evil wishes of the extreme leftist Democrats.
