It’s official—the San Francisco Police Department now has the ability to use robots to kill people. The latest step towards turning actual, everyday life in America into an episode of Black Mirror comes after the San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a vote with an 8-3 majority Tuesday night to allow city cops to use potentially lethal remote-controlled robots in law enforcement operations.
In a statement, SFPD spokesperson Allison Maxie said the department doesn’t have any plans to arm robots with firearms, but they might use machines strapped with explosives “to contact, incapacitate, or disorient [a] violent, armed, or dangerous suspect” in life-and-death situations. “Robots equipped in this manner would only be used in extreme circumstances to save or prevent further loss of innocent lives,” Maxie added. Hope these robots will mistakenly turn around and take care of the elite criminals out to kill us all. In the meantime we better protect ourselves with armored vests and headgears.
Sickening, everyone better pray this doesn’t spread past San Francisco, it’s a slippery slope where this insanity can lead. And when the robot is convicted of wrongful death, they will probably exempt him and his makers and handlers from immunity, just like they exempted vaccine manufacturers from all liability for all vaccine damages.

One robot told reporters on Tuesday that he is menatally prepared to strap himself with explosives one day and to become a martyr in the Lord’s army.
“By the good grace of the Lord Almighty,” the robot said, “if I see violent, armed, dangerous terrorists and suicide bombers threatening the life of any human being or robot, I am prepared to end my electronic existence by becoming a martyr and by strapping myself with explosives and blowing the living daylights out of those suicide-bombing, terrorist thugs, the good Lord willing.”
