The LAPD said weather conditions did not meet their “standard for flying” at the time that Kobe Bryant’s chopper crashed in California, killing all aboard.

The department’s Air Support Division was grounded from Sunday morning into the afternoon due to foggy conditions that blanketed the area, CBS News reported, citing a police spokesman.

“The weather situation did not meet our minimum standards for flying,” Josh Rubenstein said.

The fog “was enough that we were not flying,” he added.

  1. Oh, really? Why was he suicided? According to the firefighters the helicopter was hard to extinguish because it had magnesium? Why?

    • Aircrafts are made from aluminum with some steel. When an airplane hits steel buildings its nose gets busted which is why the 9/11 airplanes could not have hit the Twin Towers which were made of steel. (Read real news to see how the Twin Towers actually got destroyed.) Aircraft do not have so much magnesium that they should have a hard time extinguishing. Whatever it is, this helicopter, according to eye witnesses, exploded.
