The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit released a statement disclosing that around 50 rocket launches originating from Lebanon were directed towards northern Israel tonight.

According to the statement, a portion of these rockets was successfully intercepted, while the remaining ones landed in uninhabited regions.

Responding to the threat, aircraft targeted the launch sites from which some of these rockets were launched towards the northern regions of Israel.

Earlier in the day, IDF fighter jets conducted airstrikes on a Hezbollah facility housing weaponry within the vicinity of Baalbek.

Sirens blared across northern Israel on four separate occasions throughout Saturday: just before 11:00 a.m., shortly after 11:30 a.m., at 2:20 p.m., and slightly over an hour later at 3:22 p.m.

As evening descended, the IDF issued a report stating, “Multiple rocket launches from Lebanon towards Har Dov, Margaliot, and Shomera in northern Israel were detected throughout the day. Additionally, this afternoon, reports surfaced concerning aircraft components found in two locations in Kfar Blum. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.”

“A short while ago, IDF forces employed a drone to observe a militant entering a Hezbollah military compound in Kfarkela, southern Lebanon. Subsequently, IDF fighter jets targeted the compound.”

“In addition to the aforementioned strike, IDF fighter jets also hit Hezbollah military installations in Naqoura and Ayta ash Shab. An observation post belonging to Hezbollah in the vicinity of Khiam was also targeted.”

The previous evening, IDF fighter jets conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah military sites in Khiam and Ayta ash Shab in Lebanon.
