Yes what exactly is ur issue that Matzav posts this news, of course they support it, Lubavitch brings Yidden back 2 Yiddishkeit, u know how many ppl are keeping Shabbos & r Frum 2dy bec of the Rebbe, y r u not sure y this is on this website, did u think this is a more Litvish site, do u have an issue with Lubavitch ?
SURE KLAL YISRAEL SUPPORTS IT and so should you if you’re part of klal Yisrael! These shluchim are making gevaldige kiddush Hashem. And what would many do without these shluchim in remote areas where there are hardly any religious Jews?

Is that accurate?
What is says is “over 5,000 Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries and their guests”. There were many guests there.
They said ‘the Rebbe’s kapitel’ of Tehillim publicly at this event. That is according to a custom to say a kapital corresponding to a person’s age. For example, if someone is seventy five years old, they say kapital seventy six, as they are in their seventy sixth year.
So they said kapital 118 for the Rebbe, as he was born in 1902. The problem is, that the Rebbe passed away over twenty five years ago.
They also celebrated seventy years of the late Rebbe’s leadership. But he passed away over twenty five years ago, after forty three years of being the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
