The wave of terror continues. An Israeli citizen was killed today in the area of Chevron after stones were thrown at his vehicle and another car in the area then ran over him.
Around this period of time, dozens of Palestinian rioters partook in disturbances in the area, a fact that made it difficult for rescue forces to respond, Channel 2 reported.
The victim is Avraham Asher Hasano, 54, a father of seven from Kiryat Arba.
MDA paramedics attempted to resuscitate Hasano in preparation for evacuation by helicopter, but he died at the scene.
Mr. Hasano stopped his car after it was hit by rocks as he drove through the Al Fawar junction, near the Palestinian village of the same name, southwest of Chevron.
Hasano got out to inspect the damage. As he stood at the side of the road, he was hit by a passing truck that continued driving and left the area.
The driver fled the scene of the terror attack.
At this stage, Jerusalem Online reports, it is not known if the person who ran him over intended to harm him or not. The authorities are looking for the person that ran him over. Magen David Adom provided first aid on site and shortly after that was forced to declare his death.
