The Manhattan district attorney has convened a grand jury that is expected to weigh any criminal evidence against former President Trump, the Trump Organization and top executives of his company and decide whether to issue indictments, according to The Washington Post.
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr.’s office has reportedly been investigating an array of potential financial misconduct, including criminal fraud.
News of the grand jury is the latest sign of a quickening investigative pace for Vance’s probe, which is unfolding alongside an overlapping inquiry by the New York attorney general. Their offices are now coordinating efforts.

The accusations are
(1) incorrect valuation of property
and
(2)giving higher employee benefits instead of higher salaries to avoid payroll taxes
Neither of them are clear crimes. Both are judgment calls that can easily be made against any enemy of yours

You mean like Hunter Biden who, according to recent revelations, had taken scores of trips (not just one or two that we knew of before) on Airforce 2 when his father was vice president. Did he report those scores of taxable benefits on his tax return? I pick this example as the topic of this article here is basically tax-related, so I report a tax-related issue. But in terms of the general issue of law, what about things those apparently underage minors on his laptop showing some sexual relation, and about his committing federal felony by lying on his weapons application claiming falsely that he was not an addict and so forth ad infinitum.
What are the odds that the grand jury is made up of a bunch of demostooge partisan hacks?
Wouldn’t matter who they are. There is no defendant present to offer a rebuttal to anything the D.A. tells the jury, and the D.A. can lie from here till the sky falls without fear of being called out on it because all proceedings in the Grand Jury are secret as a matter of law.
The Democrats are looking for ANY sort of criminal conviction for Trump, to make him ineligible to run for the Presidency again.
