Michael Moore, the liberal filmmaker who became one of the few prominent voices to correctly predict a 2016 election victory for President Trump, made the same prediction Friday night if the 2020 election was held today.
Moore was speaking to HBO host Bill Maher on “Real Time” Friday night when the two got in a heated discussion over the future of the Democratic Party.
“Look, Bill, we’re going to beat Trump,” Mr. Moore told Maher.
“Well, that’s not a helpful thing to say,” Mr. Maher said. “As you know, we’re the two guys who said Trump was gonna win.”
“I will say if the election were tonight, Trump would win,” Mr. Moore responded. “That’s how dangerous it is. … You have to respect the evil genius of this guy and how he gets away with everything.”

Incorrect. Trump doesn’t get away with anything.
It’s just that the Democrats have gotten away with so much in the past and expect to get candidates with such outrageous positions elected that Trump is by far the lesser of the two evils.
