Good news emerged from the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Yerushalayim, where Rabbi Avraham Noach ben Yehudis Paley, who was seriously injured in the terror attack that claimed the lives of his two sons, opened his eyes several times on Shabbos.
Rabbi Paley is said to be starting the process of recovery and rehabilitation after an operation that took place on Thursday. According to the family, it is a long process that will take more time. But the fact that he opened his eyes has been called “miraculous.”
The family emphasizes that “he still needs a lot of prayers from all of us. That’s why we ask that tefillos continue until his complete recovery.”
His two sons, Asher Menachem and Yaakov Yisroel Paley were killed on that Erev Shabbos as the family was en route to Bnei Brak.
Rabbi Paley, it is related, does not yet know what happened in the tragic incident.
