MK Yaakov Litzman Collapses During Pesach, Has Pacemaker Put In

MK Yaakov Litzman, of Yahadut Hatorah, was transported to the hospital on Shevii Shel Pesach after collapsing in his home.

Litzman felt unwell at his home in the Ezras Torah neighborhood of Yerushalayim after the Yom Tov meal and was evacuated by ambulance to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital.

At the hospital, the Knesset member was examined and found to be suffering some form of heart rhythm disorders, and it was decided to implant a pacemaker.

The pacemaker procedure was performed by Dr. Michoel Glickson, director of the heart department at Shaarei Tzedek, and the procedure was successful.

Litzman is recovering at the hospital and will probably remain there for a few more days.
