Iran will receive $550 miillion at the start of February when world powers free part of Tehran’s blocked $4.2 billion. The money is part of a temporary agreement with six world powers to curb Iran’s nuclear program, which go into effect on January 20.
Iran also gets temporary relief from sanctions. The deal says Iran will stop enriching uranium beyond 5 percent, dilute or convert its current stockpile, and cease installing new centrifuges. Read more at Reuters.
