Two more buses carrying migrants from the southern border arrived in New York City on Thursday while another bus pulled up near Vice President Kamala Harris’ official residence in Washington, DC, as governors of border states continue to protest the Biden administration’s failure to curb the illegal immigration crisis, the NY Post reports.
The two buses reached the Port Authority in Manhattan as part of a continuing stream of migrant transports masterminded by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser.
As of Oct. 2, 16,600 migrants had arrived in the Big Apple, according to city officials.
Another load of at least two dozen migrants was dropped off Thursday morning near the Naval Observatory in northwest Washington, Fox News and WTOP Radio reported.

It seems the only options I have right now are as follows: Next to Vice President Kamala Harris’ official residence in D.C.; the Naval Observatory in D.C.; not far from President Biden’s vacation home in Delaware; a cruise ship in NYC or Martha’s Vineyard.”
“I’d prefer the last 3 options because I like cruise ships and vacation destinations,” he added, “but I can’t be picky right now; if I can’t snag the cruise ships or the vacation spots, I’ll take anything, as long as Biden provides me with the necessary amenities.”
