Mossad Chief: Protests Unlikely To Topple Iran Regime

The Director of the Israeli Mossad, Yossi Cohen, said on Tuesday he had little hope in the success of anti-government protests in Iran and claimed Israel has ‘eyes, ears, and more’ in the country.

Speaking at a conference at the Finance Ministry, Cohen argued that current protests in the Islamic Republic are largely rooted in ‘economic dissatisfaction’ towards the Rouhani government, which had raised expectations of growth.

However, he said he has little trust the protests will go anywhere, even though he “would like to see a revolution”. Read more at i24NEWS.
