Mrs. Fradel Weiss a”h

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Fradel Weiss a”h, wife of Rav Moshe Weiss and the mother of the noted Weiss family.

Mrs. Weiss immigrated to Eretz Yisroel from the United States in 1966, settling in Kiryat Sanz in Netanya.

Her husband was from the noted builders of Kiryat Sanz and Kiryat Minchas Yitzchok in Yerushalayim. The Weisses became extremely close to the Sanz-Klausenberger Rebbe zt”l.

Mrs. Weiss was a worthy helpmate to her husband, and was known for her righteousness and good deeds, for her extraordinary devotion to Torah and gemillus chassodim.

Rav Moshe passed away about 6 years ago.

Mrs. Weiss is survived by her children: Rav Dov Weiss, rov of Kiryat Sanz in YerushalayimRav Asher Weiss, rov and rosh yeshiva of Darchei Torah; Rav Yonason Binyamin Weiss, rov in Montreal; Rav Chaim Weiss, rov in Beitar Ilit; Rav Meir Weiss, Sanzer rosh kollel in Union City, NJ; Rav Avrohom Yitzchok Weiss, Biala rosh kollel in Yerushalayim; and Rav Mordechai Dovid Weiss, rov of Bais Medrash Oraiysa of London.

The levayah was held at the Sanzer bais medrash in Kriyat Sanz in Yerushalayim, followed by kevurah on Har Hamenuchos.
