Nasrallah: Israel is a Cancer

There is more anti-Israel rhetoric from Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.

In an interview with in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar,  Nasrallah remarked that “Israel is a cancer” and that the “goal should be to remove it.”

Nasrallah added that Israel desires to fight in brief wars for “a swift, decisive and open victory…

The reason for this is their realization that any future war is going to be a lot harder regarding its targets and the capability of the resistance – the rocket capabilities and capabilities in all areas. The enemy cannot withstand a war of attrition.”

Nasrallah mocked the Iron Dome system. “It will face a real issue when there is a large number of rockets,” he said.

“Israel is an illegitimate entity and it is a threat to the region,” said the Hezbollah head. “It is a constant threat to the whole region. We cannot coexist with this threat. That is why the ultimate goal…is to end Israel’s existence regardless of the problems, sensitivities and everything that has happened and could happen between Palestinians and non-Palestinians, Shia and Sunni, Muslims and Christians.”
