A Nepalese army rescue team has found three bodies near the wreckage of a U.S. Marine helicopter that went missing while delivering aid for earthquake relief efforts, officials said Friday.
Nepal’s defense secretary said three bodies were found at the site in the mountains northeast of Kathmandu, but gave no other details.
Six Marines and two Nepalese army soldiers were believed to be on board the chopper, which went missing Tuesday while delivering aid in the wake of the magnitude-7.8 earthquake that devastated the Himalayan nation on April 25. Read more at The Telegraph.
