The official Twitter account of Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu recently shared a Hebrew post expressing opposition to the government’s judicial reform plan. The post, which was accompanied by a video of the Prime Minister’s arrival in Cyprus but was later deleted, conveyed his concerns about the legal arguments presented by those against the judicial reform.

In the post, Netanyahu stated, “It’s a bit unpleasant, but every time I try to understand the legal positions of those who oppose the judicial coup d’état, I get the feeling that the entire judicial system is just a tower of speculations and self-patting on the shoulder held together by chewing gum.”

He continued, “The thing is, the claims by those who support the coup are a billion times worse than this disgrace.”

The post attracted numerous comments from Twitter users, with some finding it embarrassing. One user humorously remarked, “Poor student,” while another questioned whether the post was intentional or not, stating, “On purpose or not? That’s the question.”

Another user emphasized the permanence of internet posts, saying, “Whatever is posted on the internet stays on the internet.” Lastly, a fourth user speculated on whether the thoughts expressed in the post were those of the Prime Minister himself or his team members.

  1. The one pictured above that’s supposedly Bibi Netanyahu is definitely not him. I know him well. The ears, nose, posture, etc. are not him at all.
