Palestinian Islamic scholar Abu Anas Al-Hasri said on the Al-Aqsa Call YouTube channel that U.S. President Joe Biden’s recent visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories was in order to “claim Christianity’s rights” to Yerushalayim, MEMRI reports.
He said that President Biden came to wage war against Islam and to tighten the friendship between Arab rulers and Israel.
He prayed that any hand that shook Biden’s hand be paralyzed, and that “any tongue that welcomed Biden to the region be cut off.”

One fellow reportedly approached Mr. Al-Hasri and asked him: “When you say, ‘Those who welcomed President Biden should have their tongues cut off’, are you serious, or are you talking tongue-in-cheek?” When Al-Hasri did not respond to the question, the fellow took out a pocket flashlight from his pocket and asked Al-Hasri to open up his mouth and to say ‘aahhhh’.
After examining Al-Hasri’s mouth, the fellow reportedly asked the scholar, “Hmmm, did you, by any chance, give Mr. Biden a warm welcome when he arrived here, or has the cat got your tongue?”
Al- Hari reportedly took out a pen from his pocket and wrote down on a piece of paper: “I plead the fifth.”
