A new Quinnipiac poll finds only 37% of New Yorkers approve of the job Mayor Eric Adams is doing, CBS News reports. Forty-three percent disapprove.

Adams responded this week, saying polls go up and down.

“We’re just going to continue to do what we do, and that’s produce for New Yorkers. I am really pleased with the administration and where they are, and we’re going to continue to stay focused, no distractions and grind,” he said.

The poll found only a third of voters are satisfied with the way things are going in New York City. That’s one of the lowest satisfaction levels recorded by a Quinnipiac poll since 2003.

  1. The crime is not his fault. It’s the woke politicians in Albany with their bail reform and DA’s who let dangerous criminals loose right after the police arrest them. What can one man do against an entire corrupt and evil system?

  2. I’m not his biggest fan and don’t agree with everything he says and does but he still is about as level headed and competent as you can possibly expect from a Democratic mayor in NYC.

I will vote for him again.

  3. I agree with the first two posters. Crime is up, the quality of life has plummeted, and the bad guys are more brazen then ever before. That’s what happens when laws aren’t enforced. Paying your fare on buses and subways is basically optional, shoplifting is basically permitted, assaults are classified as misdemeanors, and when a criminal manages to get arrested they’re released on their own recognizance almost immediately. Delivery people race their electric bikes on sidewalks at dangerous speeds with no consequences, while predatory traffic cops hide out and give “gotcha” tickets to careful drivers. Marijuana smoke is prevalent everywhere, at all hours of the day and night. Homeless and disturbed people, as well as roving gangs of rowdies, menace subway riders, just like in the bad old days. We don’t need more laws or regulations, we just need the existing laws to be enforced.
