“We pay around NIS 50 million ($15 million) per month in salaries” to Palestinians imprisoned by Israel for security offenses and their families, PLO Commissioner for Prisoners’ Affairs Qadri Abu Bakr told the Times of Israel, reports Aaron Boxerman.
7,500 released prisoners currently receive PLO aid, as do 4,500 prisoners still in detention.
Israel has described the stipends as a “pay-to-slay” program that rewards attackers.

is obiden underwriting this?
Maybe. After all, he wanted to send a “no strings attached” $200 million check to Iran just a few weeks after the 9/11 attacks. So maybe he is underwriting this too.
