Construction is due to begin in 2025 on the world’s first “space hotel” in low Earth orbit that will include restaurants, a movie theater, spa and rooms for some 400 guests, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.
Named the Voyager Station, the complex could be operational as early as 2027. Developed by the Orbital Assembly Corporation (OAC), the project will be a large circle and rotate to generate artificial gravity similar to that of the Moon’s.
The plan is to construct the inner spinning wheel using robots in Earth orbit, with individual pods then launched to attach to the outer edges of the wheel.
OAC said building costs for the project are getting cheaper due to reusable launch vehicles such as the SpaceX Falcon 9 and the future Starship, but did not reveal how much they estimated it would cost to construct the station or how much someone would have to pay to spend a night there.

Is this for Purim or Pesach?
How are you supposed to get to the hotel? Will there be flights?
Can you imagine how much money and energy you need to keep restaurants, a movie theater, spa and rooms for 400 guests in perpetual orbit?
It’s just another one these things scientists promise they will do but of course never actually do when it comes down to it.
Some people are so spaced-out for Pesach, as it is, that they don’t need a rocket
I know many people who are spaced out! This would be a great accomadations for them! Looking forward!
Could be popular. Get away from moms home. Bring your Sega. The love will last really cool.
Are there mikvaos up there?
Picturing myself gorging on hotel Pessach luxury meals made me think of the famous Muppets clip pigs in space.
