PM-Designate Gantz Says Hamas Heads To Bear Personal Responsibility For Unrest In Israel’s South

Israel’s Prime Minister-designate Benny Gantz said Saturday that Hamas heads would bear personal responsibility for any unrest in the south if he forms a coalition government.

Speaking at Saturday’s rally commemorating the 24th anniversary of Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination, Gantz said deterrence must be restored by any means necessary.

His comments followed unrest in Israel’s south, where a residential building was damaged in a missile strike largely attributed to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group in Gaza.
