More than two-thirds of the nation says it is fair for President Donald Trump to ask for a recount in key states, according to a new Newsmax/McLaughlin & Associates poll released Thursday.

Sixty-seven percent of likely voters backed Trump’s recounts where the vote margins in his race with Joe Biden were 1% or closer, which applies to states like Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Arizona.

Despite the close contests, 65% of Americans say the election will ultimately be decided honestly. But fully a third of all voters, 35%, said that there was significant fraud.

“This seems to be a very disturbing and high number for the country that always prided itself to be the world’s leading democracy,” pollster John McLaughlin said. “The highest level of fraud concerns are among Trump voters at 70% and Republicans at 65%.”

  1. Who cares.
Polls are fake, as per the idiot from the stable.
Maybe crazy Rudy will argue in court, with nutty Sydney, that polls overide the constituion.

  2. As of press time, additional poll respondents have responded to the aforementioned poll by mail. And now the poll numbers have suddenly taken a 180 degree turn in Biden’s favor. Now, 67% of likely voters say they are opposed to recounting the votes, with 93% of the respondents saying they believe Biden not only won the election by a landslide, but that he is also is an angel from heaven.

  3. McLaughlin & Associates is the polling firm that had Eric Cantor up by 34 points in his primary against Dave Brat. Brat won by 12.

Trump is absolutely entitled to ask for recounts in Georgia (a second recount is underway,, at taxpayer expense), Wisconsin (he is paying for recounts in only two counties, which probably is unconstitutional), and Nevada (no recount there because he won’t front the money). Recounts are illegal in all other states.
