President Trump’s Twitter Account Went Dark Temporarily

President Donald Trump’s Twitter account was accidentally deactivated for a short time on Thursday evening, the social media platform said, the Daily Beast reports.
The page displayed a message saying, “Sorry, that page does not exist!” The president’s Twitter account was later restored after being down for 11 minutes. In a statement, Twitter said the account was “inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee,” adding: “We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.”

  1. If Twitter would be foolish enough to close President Trump’s account for good, they can close shop altogether. After the 2016 Presidential election, Trump had about 26 million followers. Now he has over 42 million followers.
