It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of R’ Ronen Tzig z”l. He was 37.
R’ Ronen was one of the chashuvim of the yeshiva of Rav Moshe Shternbuch.
In the last year, he fell ill with an awful disease, and a name was added by Rav Shternbuch as a zechus, but his condition deteriorated.
His mother, Mrs. Ruthie Tzig, died two years ago, suffering from muscular dystrophy.
R’ Ronen was born in Yerushalayim, a son of R’ Rachamim and Ruthie Tzig.
He learned at Yeshiva Chevron Geulah. After his marriage, he moved to the city of Beit Shemesh.
About 5 years ago, he began to learn at Rav Shternbuch’s yeshiva. He was known as an exception ben Torah and masmid. Even during his severe illness and despite his suffering, he learned with devotion each day at the yeshiva.
He leaves behind his wife and three children.
The levayah and kevurah were held at the Derach Hachaim Bais Hachaim in Beit Shemesh.
