In a special letter, Rav Chaim Kanievsky added his condolences for the Ginsburg family to the words of his son-in-law, Rav Shraga Steinman, upon the passing in a tragic fire in Beitar of a four year old and a two year old, Efrat Ginsburg and Tzvi Ginsburg.

In his letter, Rav Shteinman writes: “To Rav Reuven Yehoshua Ginsburg and his family shlit” a, Boruch Dayan Emes. We are commanded to love Hashem with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might,” and Chazal (Brachos 44) interpret this to mean bechol midah umidah shehu moded loch. Because Hashem is the source of good and wants to do good, and certainly this is what is good and this is what should be.”

The niftarim were children of Rabbi and Mrs. Reuven Yehoshua and Devorah Ginsburg (pictured above). Reb Reuven Yehoshua is a son of Rav Shlomo Ginsburg, R”M at Yeshivas Harei Yehuda in Moshav Bais Meir, and a grandson of the famed mashgiach, Rav Chatzkel Levenstein zt”l. Mrs. Ginsburg, a daughter of Rav Nosson Dovid Shapira of Mosad Harav Kook, is a teacher at Talmud Torah Orchos Chaim.

Reb Reuven Yehoshua, a beloved member of the community, is a member of the kollel at Yeshivas Bais Yitzchok in Beitar.
