In an unusual letter, Rav Dov Kook of Tiveriah stated that it is mandatory to vote for the chareidi parties in the Israeli election.

“It’s a terrible chillul Hashem all over the world if they don’t succeed, and anyone who doesn’t feel that way needs to be checked.”

It should be noted that despite the pressures exerted on Rav Kook in every election, he in principle does not officially support any party.

This time, apparently due to the fact that he believes that this is an extra crucial election, he went out of his way and wrote a letter to encourage people vote for the chareidi parties, and even used an uncharacteristic phrase: “And anyone who doesn’t feel that way needs to be checked.”

  1. I heard that many are not voting for parties that have “blood on their hands” whether they’re chareidim or not; i.e. those mosdos who enforced the deadly vaccines which many heimishe people died from this year.

  2. Friendly persuasion works better than threats or brute force. Also make the chareidi parties more responsive to constituents’ needs and concerns.

  3. THE VOTE IS SECRET, SO HOW IS HE GOING TO CHECK WHO VOTED FOR CHAREDI PARTIES?MAYBE BY RUACH HAKODESH? OR WILL HE PASS EVERY VOTER BEFORE THE TSITS, LIKE THE BNOT MOAB?
