This is true in many offices but in Lakewood specifically there are offices that adhere to the most stringent halachos. There are offices in Lakewood that have separate kitchenette and common areas for men and woman with many other “Gedarim” put in place. Daven Mincha in one of these new office buildings and you will be pleasantly surprised to see what values some of todays bal habatim have instilled in their company and workforce. Ashreinu.
There isn’t non work related talk or actions from any employees because its clear from the top (bosses) what their hashkafos are.

1. First name basis, should never be used even when not talking to the subject person.
2. No perfume or cologne should be worn in the office.
3. Davening in the office, requires a hat and jacket as it says in halacha. Cellphones should be off during davening.

I think we should first teach the yungerleit the torahdige hashkafa about working, period. Unfortunately, the yeshivish system gave us ZERO guidance in this field, as this should be avoided entirely. Unless you are gonna make a billion dollars and support the yeshivas.

Why do the Hanhala and school administration call me Goldie instead of Mrs. Frankel? Isn’t it inappropriate?
