At Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Ozer in Bnei Brak, the rosh yeshiva, Rav Menachem Zvi Berlin, one of the oldest roshei yeshiva of our time, who has led the yeshiva for over thirty years and has had thousands of talmidim over the years, appointed his son, Rav Yechiel Berlin, to serve as rosh yeshiva in the yeshiva.
The yeshiva was founded over thirty years ago under the guidance of Maran Rav Elazar Menachem Man Shach.
About 15 years ago, Rav Yechiel joined the yeshiva and began giving shiurim.
In his earlier years, Rav Yechiel learned at the Chevron Yeshiva in Geulah under Rav Shmuel Yaakov Bornstein.
The yeshiva currently has about 180 talmidim.
