It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Moshe Aharon Braverman zt”l. He was niftar in the Corona Department at Maayanei Hayeshuah Hospital in Bnei Brak.
Rav Braverman studied in his youth at the Ponevezh Yeshiva and was a talmid of the rosh yeshiva Rav Elazar Menachem Man Shach zt”l, who was particularly fond of him and appointed him as the mashgiach at the Grodna Yeshiva in Ashdod.
Rav Braverman served on the vaad committee of the Israeli Yated Ne’eman newspaper.
About 18 years ago, his wife, Rebbetzin Ettil Henya Braverman, passed away.
The levayah was held on Motzoei Shabbos at the Lederman Shul in Bnei Brak, followed by kevurah at the Ponovezh Bais Hachaim.
