It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Shmuel Binyomin Herzog zt”l, rov of Khal Bnei Boruch of Lakewood.
Rav Herzog was an outstanding talmid chochom who spent his life engaged in limud haTorah and avodas Hashem.
Rav Herzog carried himself with Torah aristocracy but with a palpable humility, a role model for the residents of his Princeton Avenue neighborhood and the mispallelim who davened in his bais medrash, which is a hub of limud haTorah and harbotzas haTorah.
Rav Herzog leaves behind his devoted wife, Rebbetzin Yocheved Herzog, and mispallelim, friends and admirers who were inspired and uplifted by everything he stood for.
