Rav Yehuda Cheszner, Av Beis Din of the community of Ofakim, who was widowed from his wife, Rebbetzin Tirtza a”h, last Elul, became engaged this evening.
The kallah is Mrs. Yehudis Ornstein, widow of Rav Yitzchak Gedalia Ornstein zt”l, one of the prominent members of the Kollel of Yeshivas Slabodka in Bnei Brak, who passed away in the month of Teves 5782.
The chosson is 79 years old. The kallah is 66.
Rav Cheszner is known as a noted posek and the author of renowned halachic works, including Si’ach Tefillah, Shaarei Yemei Pesach, Shaarei Yemei Nechama, and others.
