It is with shock and sadness that Matzav.com reports the sudden petirah of Rav Yosef Dovid Neuschloss zt”l. He was 51 years old.
Rav Neuschloss was the rov of Khal Agudas Achim on Circle Place in Lakewood, NJ.
After suffering from chest pains last night, Rav Neuschloss was taken to the hospital by Hatzolah, suffering a heart attack en route to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, where he ultimately passed away.
Rav Neuschloss was a warm and caring talmid chochom, who had a kind word for one and all. He devoted himself to continuous limud haTorah and avodas Hashem.
Rav Neuschloss’ father, Rav Yaakov, of Boro Park, is a son of Rav Moshe Neuschloss zt”l, well-known posek of Shikun Skver.
Rav Neuschloss was a son-in-law of Rav Dovid Spiegel, Ostrov-Kalushiner Rebbe of Cedarhurst.
Rav Neuschloss is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shiffy (Spiegel) Neuschloss, and their children.
The levayah will take place at noon at Khal Agudas Achim, located at 23 Circle Place in Lakewood. The aron will then be transported to Shikun Skver for kevurah there.
