It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah at Ma’ayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak of Rebbetzin Tzipora Kalmanowitz a”h. She was 85.
The Rebbetzin was the wife of Rav Yisroel Yitzchok Kalmanowitz, author of Oholei Yeshuah.
The Rebbetzin was born on 28 Teves, a daughter of Rav Yitzchok Meir and Rebbetzin Breina Bas Tzion Karelenstein.
She married Rav Yisroel Yitzchok Kalmanowitz, a son of Rav Avraham Kalmanowitz, founding rosh yeshiva of Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn.
She stood by her husband’s side, supporting him with in his Torah learning and teaching, and his avodas Hashem.
She merited to leave behind doros of bnei and bnos Torah who continue in her path.
The levayah was held tonight at her home at 14 Rechov Beis Hillel in Bnei Brak, followed by kevurah at the Sanhedria Cemetery in Yerushalayim.
