Ramallah ended relations with Israel after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his intention to annex parts of the West Bank earlier this year.
Last month, Israel agreed to put the move on hold as part of its normalization deal with the United Arab Emirates.
A security source told broadcaster Kan on Wednesday that senior Palestinian Authority officials had expressed a desire to renew the coordination through various messages, although no further details were provided.
