Former US President Donald Trump has voiced his frustration with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, expressing a desire for Netanyahu to be “impeached,” Rolling Stone reported on Thursday.

According to the report, Trump has had recent phone calls with pro-Israel GOP allies and donors to discuss his approach to Israeli-Palestinian matters if reelected. Trump’s ideas include cutting off aid to Palestinian Arabs, encouraging other nations to do the same, and apprehending certain Hamas figures. However, Trump has spent a significant amount of time criticizing Netanyahu during these private discussions.

Trump has reportedly suggested privately that Netanyahu should be “impeached” by the Knesset because of the recent Hamas attack on Israel.

The report follows Trump’s speech in Florida on Wednesday night, in which he criticized Netanyahu over the elimination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in a US airstrike in 2020.

During his speech, Trump claimed that Netanyahu was unhelpful in the effort to eliminate Soleimani but later tried to take credit for it.

Trump said, “I’ll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down. That was a very terrible thing. I will say that.” He expressed disappointment that Netanyahu had attempted to take credit for the operation.

Trump also suggested that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas is related to the belief that the 2020 election was “rigged.”

“If the election wasn’t rigged, there would be nobody even thinking about going into Israel,” said Trump.

While Trump and Netanyahu had a close relationship during Trump’s time in the White House, their relationship soured after Netanyahu was one of the first world leaders to congratulate Joe Biden after his election win. In a December 2021 interview, Trump famously cursed Netanyahu and stated that he had not spoken to him since.

Netanyahu responded to Trump’s remarks in a recent interview with CNN, acknowledging that he appreciated what President Trump had done during his tenure, including moving the US embassy to Yerushalayim, recognizing Yerushalayim as Israel’s capital, and acknowledging Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Despite Trump’s negative comments, Netanyahu emphasized that he respected and appreciated Trump’s actions.

  1. Nonsense and hearsay.
Regardless, this discussion is inappropriate while Israel is fighting for their existence. Mr. Trump and Rolling Stone can don a uniform and enter Gaza with a rifle. To sit in the lap of luxury and pontificate from their arm chair is inappropriate.

  2. The Trumpet tooting his own horn, AGAIN! What else is new! For just the mere fact that this narcissist can’t even wait until the the right time to express his opinion – THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT TIME – THIS JUST EMVOLDENS THE ENEMY AND THEIR COHORTS – just goes to prove how ill-advised it is to reelect him. He’s all about the Donald and ain’t nuthin better than me THE DON!
I’ve had enough of him. He, Chuck Shoe-mer and Hamas all have insatiable desires for head lines and news briefings. Enough already! עת צרה היא ליעקב

  3. Trump is right. Bibi is leaderless and incompetent. He should be removed and be replaced with a G-d fearing and Torah observant leader, ie, Moshiach.

  4. Trump admires purity of conviction. He doesn’t like cavers and folders.
We enjoy Netanyahu’s great communication skills etc. but under a lot of pressure he does cave, because he’s still ערב רב. Maybe from the better ערב רב, but still lacking the pure confidence to do only the right thing.

  5. Of course you TIPSHIM at the Matzavington Compost didn’t bother listening to or reading the ENTIRE transcript of what was said that night. You’re just flapping your gums and regurgitating this same excrement that appears in the Washington compost etc.

I have no idea what people read your garbage! Oh, that’s right. That explains why your readership is down across the board.

  6. “Trump also suggested that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas is related to the belief that the 2020 election was “rigged.”

“If the election wasn’t rigged, there would be nobody even thinking about going into Israel,” said Trump.”

This is silly. Of course that’s not what he suggested. He simply noted that this war only happened because he was, bottom line, denied his second term – not because of the way that he stated that he was denied that second term.

  7. You’re not an antisemite for hating Bibi. You’re an antisemite for hating Jews. There’s a huge difference.

Biden re-hired as giving some time to deal with Bibi. No one likes Bibi. It’s not a חידוש. Why are we acting like it is?

  8. The real Netanyahu is gone. Compare photos from before 2017 to after that.
Trump only mocks the actors playing the parts of the originals – another proof that Netanyahu was replaced.
Ashmedai, the current PM of Israel, was the one to order the borders open last week that caused thousands dead and injured.
