Russia’s defense ministry accused Ukraine today of poisoning some of its servicemen in the Russian-controlled part of Ukraine’s southeastern region of Zaporizhzhia in late July, Reuters reports. An adviser to Ukraine’s interior ministry said in response the alleged poisoning could have been caused by Russian forces eating expired canned meat.

The Russian defense ministry said a number of Russian servicemen had been taken to a military hospital with signs of serious poisoning July 31. Tests showed a toxic substance, botulinum toxin type B, in their bodies, it said, according to Reuters.

  1. Ukraine and Zelensky are genocidal maniacs. Who gave our beloved American government the right to send my money to those Ukrainian murderers?

  2. “An adviser to Ukraine’s interior ministry said in response the alleged poisoning could have been caused by Russian forces eating expired canned meat.”
“Sorry, but that’s a ridiculous excuse,” a Russian official told reporters on Saturday evening. “The expiration date on the canned meat is just fine.”
“Here, take a look at the date,” he said. “What does it say on the can? ‘October 27th’, right? That leaves us with 2 more months, which is just fine!…..”
“Umm, hold on just one second,” he added. “It says ‘October 27th…..2003’!!!!!”
“Oy vey!” he screamed out in a pained voice. “May the Lord have mercy on us, and may he have mercy on our stomachs!”
