Sanz-Klausenburger Rebbe Faints During Hesped

The Sanz-Klausenburger Rebbe of Boro Park collapsed last night during an asifas zikaron l’illui nishmas Rav Shlomo Gross zt”l, Belzer dayan, held at the Beth-El shul in Boro Park, Brooklyn.

The Rebbe delivered a hesped for an hour. He had not eaten sufficiently during the day and fainted.

Hatzolah was called to the scene and treated the Rebbe.

The Rebbe wanted to go home, but Hatzolah paramedics urged him to go to his personal physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

The Rebbe was said to be in good condition.

Interestingly, the Rebbe’s father, the Shefa Chaim, during a hesped for the Tchebiner Rov years ago, also collapsed.

All are asked to daven for the wellbeing of Rav Shmuel Dovid ben Chaya Nechama.
