Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced Friday that she’s running for Congress in the Last Frontier, looking to make a political comeback after more than a decade out of office, the NY Post reports.
The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will run in a crowded special election for Alaska’s only seat in the US House of Representatives, left vacant when longtime Rep. Don Young died two weeks ago.
Palin, 58, said she is returning to politics because she believes “America is at a tipping point” with economic hardships like soaring inflation and high gas prices.

Tell her to stay home and bake an apple pie. She’s an old fogy and should stay out of public site.
Running FOR Congress, although congress would be considerably improved if she ran it
Should be fun if she wins. The Demos & RINOs will be raging full throttle. Bring it on , Sarah.
Move over, Nancy!
The US Congress, which is already suffering the likes of AOC, Rawshita the Chin, Taylor Greene, and few other mega brain-powers, simply cannot handle another bright star such as Sarah Palin. Too much genius under one roof would be a disaster.
Perhaps she should start somewhere locally. For example, a school board in a small Alaskan town, or as a tour guide to the farthest corner of Russia, which is visible from her kitchen windows?
