Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Tuesday said that “there is a holocaust going on” in Ukraine and demanded Congress give $12 billion in Javelins, Stingers and other deadly weaponry to help Ukrainians “defend themselves.”

“I’m really pleased we are including a robust aid package that will help the people of Ukraine. There is a large chunk of it [that] is humanitarian relief,” Schumer told reporters about the massive omnibus package establishment Republicans and Democrats are attempting to pass in short order.
“The Ukrainians lack food they lack clothing,” Schumer continued. “They lack shelter, electricity, medicines. We must get them these things.”
“There is a holocaust going on,” Schumer claimed.
“When you see people lined up on busses to just leave a conflict zone and Putin’s artillery just shells those buses that is just below humanity – below dignity,” Schumer said without supplying evidence of such a war crime.
“We also need to give the brave Ukrainian fighting forces … the arms they need, whether it be Javelins or Stingers or anything else, they need these arms to defend themselves against brutal Russian aggression,” Schumer said.
He is trivializing The Holocaust with such statements.
There is a war going on there, sadly there are casualties, including civilians, and many refugees. War is terrible. But there is no attempt to exterminate a nation as was done by Nazi Germany.
Disgraceful and irresponsible rhetoric by Schumer.
Does he have such a limited vocabulary that he can’t find other, more fitting words to make his point?
He’s saying something so true. There is indeed a holocaust going on in Ukraine in the DUMBS which Putin’s military is currently “invading” and rescuing thousands of children whom the Nutzi Cabals committed heinous crimes on, including experimenting on them with all kinds of chemicals and who knows what, Hashem Yerachem. (Investigate but don’t look at those gory pictures which can cause you nightmares forever.)
No, it isn’t true. Putin isn’t rounding up millions of civilians and sending them to gas chambers. He isn’t sending Ukrainian civilians to concentration camps. Putin is not Hitler ym”s.
Not Putin is doing that. Putin is rescuing them from the Ukrainian Holocaust. Sadly the children the military is rescuing suffered like the Holocaust or worse.
The deaths of innocent Ukrainian civilians is terrible but it is not a Holocaust.
