Far-right political commentator and talk-show host Candace Owens, who was let go from The Daily Wire in March over anti-Jewish rhetoric, dipped her toe into antisemitic waters once again.
She called the torturous “experiments” on Jewish and other prisoners held by Nazi Germans and undertaken by Dr. Josef Mengele during World War II and the Holocaust “bizarre propaganda.”
Owens said this week that “some of the stories, by the way, sound completely absurd.”
Mentioning an account of humans cut in half, Owens asked: “Why would you do that?” She then quipped: “Literally, even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies.”
She asserted that “just sounds like bizarre propaganda.”
Social-media users pushed back, including Arsen Ostrovsky, CEO of the International Legal Forum, who wrote that Owens “has totally lost the plot and gone full-blown neo-Nazi.”
The Combat Antisemitism Movement called her statements “utterly repugnant.”
In response, Owens explained the broader context and purpose of her statements, claiming that Zionists “have polluted American minds to believe that we must defend Israel out of morality and the evils of the Holocaust.”
Further explaining her intent, she wrote that “learning about how many people who committed holocausts and mass murders were protected by Israel is disruptive to that narrative.”
The StopAntisemitism watchdog group asked, “Her senile remarks echo the dangerous rhetoric of her friend, Kanye West, raising the question: Is she vying for the title of ‘Antisemite of the Year?’” JNS

Candace has the 1st amendment right to question the Holocaust. We may disagree but it is her right. I am a Jew and I also question certain narratives about the Holocaust. We have the right to question? It is a G-d given right. That doesn’t make it anti-Semitic.
What does the first amendment right have to do with this? Do I have the right to say Jews are pigs? Does that mean it is not an antisemitic statement?
When a person always questions a certain specific religion’s narratives that are pretty well documented, even if not “proven beyond a shadow of doubt”, and doesn’t apply the same standards to other peoples, you can safely say it’s antisemitic.
If the questioning is based on turning the public against Jews and the jewish mindset and feeds on age – old tropes and outright lies – that DOES make it anti -semitic’, and i used to think highly of candace, but she is sinking lower daily!

As an Irishman, I have long loved the Jewish people. The American army was careful to document what they found & while I am not well versed on the specifics, the final solution was a heartbreaking tragedy that I pray will never be repeated. The wounds were not merely physical & mental, but the spiritual wounds were also mind-numbing. Mengele was a monster who without question was guided by Satan & Satan’s cruelties need not conform to anyone’s sense of logic. Never again.
My Mother o”h had some of her teeth knocked out by a backhanded slap from Mengele. Then she had her feet frozen in blocks of ice. She was 14 years old at the time.
