The IDF announced on Wednesday the death of Staff Sergeant Nisim Kachlon, 21, hailing from Chadera, during combat operations in the southern Gaza Strip. Kachlon served as a frontline combatant within the 435th Battalion of the esteemed Givati Brigade.
Amidst the ongoing conflict, IDF and ISA units persist in their concentrated efforts within the vicinity of Shifa Hospital.
Over the preceding 24 hours, soldiers have neutralized numerous terrorist threats and successfully identified and dismantled terrorist infrastructure and weapon caches surrounding the hospital compound.
A substantial number of terrorists affiliated with various terrorist factions operating within the Gaza Strip have been apprehended within the hospital premises, with a considerable number met with the necessary force.
Meanwhile, IDF and ISA forces, under the leadership of the 98th Division, persist in their efforts within the Al-Amal and Al-Qararah sectors. Recent operations have resulted in the elimination of terrorist elements and the discovery of concealed weapons arsenals, further reinforcing the commitment to neutralizing threats to civilian populations.
